Congressman Dan Meuser Named Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations for the Financial Services Committee

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) released the following statement after being named Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Financial Services Committee for the 119th Congress.

Chairman Meuser said, “Thank you to Chairman French Hill for giving me the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. Under the leadership of Chairman Hill, we will work to advance the goals of the Financial Services Committee, the Republican Conference, and President Trump. Our subcommittee will provide essential oversight and root out regulations and policies implemented by the current administration that have stifled growth and harmed America’s financial services industry. I congratulate and look forward to working with my fellow subcommittee Chairs, Reps. Wagner, Barr, Steil, Davidson, and Flood, as well as Vice-Chairman Huizenga and others in Committee leadership, including Reps. Haridopolos, and Lawler.”

Meuser continued, "As Subcommittee Chairman, I will be committed to ensuring transparency and accountability across the financial sector, while fostering an environment that allows businesses and consumers to thrive.
