ICYMI: AFP Activists Visit Washington, DC, Urging Lawmakers to Pass Trump Tax Cuts
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – Americans for Prosperity grassroots activists from across the country traveled to Capitol Hill this week as part of Americans for Prosperity’s ongoing Protect Prosperity campaign to advocate for President Trump’s tax cuts.
State Director Emily Greene traveled to Washington and conducted meetings to urge Pennsylvania lawmakers to extend provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which saves the average Pennsylvania family $2,394 in federal taxes per year and preserves 33,339 jobs throughout the state. Greene also discussed passing the rescissions package from the White House to eliminate wasteful spending.
