Local student Pierce Oldroyd receives rare triple nomination to U.S. service academies

In an extraordinary achievement, Athens Area High School senior Pierce Oldroyd has been nominated by Congressman Dan Meuser to attend not one, but all three major U.S. service academies: the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, and the United States Air Force Academy.
