Pa. U.S. House members vote to release Epstein files amid calls for transparency

In a statement to PennLive on Wednesday, Meuser accused Democrats of creating a “political spectacle” and failing to release the files under the Biden administration.

“Why? The only reason would be to prolong this spectacle and engage in a weak attempt to weaponize it for political gain against President Trump,” said Meuser. “It is despicable to engage in political opportunism on such a serious issue, particularly one involving sex trafficking.”

Meuser added that he and Trump have said “all credible and legal information related to Jeffrey Epstein should be released, and that is exactly what we have done and what we will continue to do.”
