Regarding government funding, I very simply discussed the need to work in concert with the incoming White House and ensure that every dollar of taxpayer money is accounted for – the proposed CR yesterday failed to do that. So there’s work to do. I also discussed DOGE and how it did its job shining a light on what was in the initial CR to the American people. We also addressed upcoming reconciliation legislation and how it too must be led by the incoming White House. The American people elected Donald Trump, and we must execute on his policy plans, which include growing the economy while shrinking the waste in government.
