This morning on Mornings with Maria, I discussed the critical upcoming vote for House Speaker and the need for prompt action to confirm President-Elect Trump’s cabinet nominations. From protecting our national security, securing our border, strengthening our economy, and bringing stability throughout the world, Republicans have a responsibility to act swiftly to advance the agenda the American people voted for – President Trump’s America-First agenda. To accomplish that, the House needs to move quickly to elect a Speaker, and the Senate must move quickly on confirming President Trump’s cabinet nominations.
