There is a clear cause and effect between the Biden Administration’s excessive spending and rising inflation. And rather than correct course, the President’s FY25 budget doubles down on policy failures by proposing $1 trillion in additional spending and new taxes on hardworking Americans.
Last week, President Biden claimed the State of our Union is strong – but the American people disagree. From soaring inflation to national debt, a catastrophe at our southern border, an assault on American energy, rising crime, and geopolitical chaos, the State of our Union is sadly not strong and has been in decline for 3 years, 1 month, and 22 days.
Tonight’s State of the Union will be hard to listen to – President Biden will gaslight the American people, lying about his record and blaming Republicans and businesses for his blatant failures. Check out my interview below on Mornings with Maria.
Inflation has risen 18% since President Biden took office, largely caused by his Administration’s excessive spending. My constituents still have sticker shock every time they check out at the grocery store or fill up their gas tanks. We need pro-growth initiatives to get our country back on track, not the tax and spend agenda that the President will lay out tonight.
Under the past Trump Administration, there was no invasion of Ukraine, there was peace in the Middle East, and there was less tension between China and Taiwan. As well, the terrorist state of Iran was defunded because of the strict sanctions on their oil exports. But today, Biden’s weakness on the world stage has plunged the world into chaos.
There are real concerns throughout our cities and communities about the violence in our streets. There has clearly been a failed social experiment on the part of the left that has resulted in high levels of crime. Democrats have defunded and discredited police forces across the country, as well as appointed and elected liberal prosecutors who aren’t prosecuting.
On day one, this President reversed many successful border policies implemented by the Trump Administration that kept our nation safe. Joe Biden ended Remain in Mexico, halted border wall construction, loosened asylum requirements, and issued a moratorium on deportations – essentially telling the world our border was and is wide open.
We covered several pressing topics including the Biden border crisis, the full-year appropriations deal, and Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s influence peddling scheme.
Hunter and Jim Biden made millions of dollars from domestic and foreign entities while perpetrating an influence-peddling scheme. The facts show they then used companies they owned as pass-throughs to funnel money to Joe Biden. The Oversight and Judiciary Committees have exposed $240K in checks to Joe Biden that claim to be “loan repayments” from Jim.
