Tonight, on the House floor, I honored the memory of Bryan Kendall, who tragically lost his life in a farming accident over the weekend. Bryan was proud to be a dairy farmer, and he was known as the heart of Villa Dale Farm – a legacy spanning three generations. He touched the hearts of so many in Lebanon County and beyond, and his passing has left an immense void in our community.
What we’re seeing on college campuses across the country is a high level of destruction. While the antisemitic protestors want to be called anarchists, what they really are is simply criminals. There is a big difference between creating change through destruction and creating change through production.
Today, the House unanimously passed my bill, the Investing in All of America Act. This legislation will incentivize the deployment of private capital to small businesses located in rural or low-income areas, as well as small businesses in the national security technologies sector.
The Biden Administration’s failed border policies have created a deadly crisis. We have migrant crime, drugs poisoning our youth, human trafficking, and now, squatting. At the federal level, my SHIELD Act will require that an illegal immigrant convicted of trespassing be deported from the United States and deem them permanently inadmissible for reentry.
Secretary Mayorkas has lied to Congress under oath on many occasions and has failed to enforce existing immigration laws, a violation of Article II of the Constitution. He is guilty of "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law" and "breach of public trust" and was rightfully impeached by the House.
When you peel back the onion on the Biden Administration, all you want to do is cry. Nothing is being done from a tax, regulatory, or fiscal responsibility standpoint that is helping drive or strengthen our economy. This Administration’s policies have been devastating to American small businesses.
President Biden has attempted to tout strong job performance numbers, but we know the data is inflated by immigration. Coming out of COVID, there were many jobs to be filled, and as it turns out, a new report indicates that it’s likely 1.7 million of 2.7 million new jobs under Biden were filled by illegal immigrants.
While we would like to trust our President, the White House has released very little information about Biden’s call with President Xi. The American people deserve to know if President Biden truly stood up for American interests on the call or if he continued his policy of appeasement.

Combatting crime and ensuring public safety must be the top priority for law enforcement and elected officials. Yet the Biden Administration's ideological liberal social experiment has failed miserably, both at the border and in our cities. President Biden’s policies are harming our country, and the American people deserve an immediate course correction.
