WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, legislation introduced by Representatives Dan Meuser (R-PA) and Hillary Scholten (D-MI), H.R. 5333, the Investing in All of America Act of 2023, unanimouslypassed in the House Small Business Committee.
Secretary Mayorkas has lied to Congress under oath on many occasions and has failed to enforce existing immigration laws, a violation of Article II of the Constitution. He is guilty of "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law" and "breach of public trust" and was rightfully impeached by the House.
The Biden Administration’s failed border policies have created a deadly crisis. We have migrant crime, drugs poisoning our youth, human trafficking, and now, squatting. At the federal level, my SHIELD Act will require that an illegal immigrant convicted of trespassing be deported from the United States and deem them permanently inadmissible for reentry.
