Today, I proudly spoke in support of H.R. 4790, which passed the House this evening. The legislation defends American businesses from foreign regulatory overreach and ensures investors’ freedom to choose what to do with their own wealth. My bill, the Protecting U.S. Business Sovereignty Act, was included to help protect U.S. investors from European overreach.
While the Constitution says only U.S. citizens can vote, the SAVE Act prohibits bad actors from registering non-citizens to vote and requires states to purge their voter rolls of all illegal immigrants.
