Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-9) tonight issued the following statement after opposing the fiscal year 2019 appropriations package on the House floor:
WASHINGTON – Today, every member of the Pennsylvania Republican Congressional Delegation supported an amendment to pay Department of Homeland Security employees for their work to date. This includes Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) employees and members of the U.S. Coast Guard, essential employees working without pay during the partial government shutdown.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) was sworn in Thursday as a member of the 116th Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 9th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Meuser was joined yesterday by his family and more than 70 9th District residents who made the trip to DC to be with Dan as he took the oath of office and got to work on behalf of Pennsylvania families.
