WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) today announced several changes to his Pottsville office, including a staff departure, a promotion, and a new hire.

District Director Nathan Gerace, a key member of Congressman Meuser’s team since his first term in 2019, will depart the office on February 18th to join Senator Dave McCormick’s Pennsylvania leadership team as Northeast Director.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, legislation introduced by Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09), H.R. 692, the bipartisan China Exchange Rate Transparency (CERT) Act, passed the House of Representatives 388-7.  

The CERT Act will address China's opaque and manipulative currency practices that undermine fair trade and global economic stability.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09), Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee’s Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, held his first hearing titled Operation Choke Point 2.0: The Biden Administration’s Efforts to Put Crypto in the Crosshairs.” 

The hearing examined how federal regulators during the Biden Administration used their supervisory authority to debank digital asset firms and individuals engaged in the crypto industry.
