Check out my interview below on Mornings with Maria. Regarding government funding, I very simply discussed the need to work in concert with the incoming White House and ensure that every dollar of taxpayer money is accounted for – the proposed CR yesterday failed to do that. So there’s work to do.
DOGE is about making government work smarter, cutting waste, and respecting taxpayer dollars. We’re going to address hundreds of billions of dollars in federal overpayments, ratchet down spending to pre-Covid levels, and responsibly reduce unnecessary programs at agencies across our bloated bureaucracy.

While the proposed Continuing Resolution would ensure that President Trump and a unified Republican Congress have control over the federal budget in March, I have serious concerns with the legislation and continue to review it.
