Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-9) tonight issued the following statement after opposing the fiscal year 2019 appropriations package on the House floor:

WASHINGTON – Today, every member of the Pennsylvania Republican Congressional Delegation supported an amendment to pay Department of Homeland Security employees for their work to date. This includes Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) employees and members of the U.S. Coast Guard, essential employees working without pay during the partial government shutdown.

WASHINGTON— Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-9) announced today that he will serve on the House Education & Labor, Veterans' Affairs, and Budget Committees during the 116^th Congress. Meuser will be one of a select few freshmen Members of Congress to serve on three standing House committees.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Dan Meuser(PA-09) was sworn in Thursday as a member of the 116^th Congress representing Pennsylvania's 9^th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
