TAMAQUA, Pa. — Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) today hosted Scott Turner, Executive Director for the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council, on a tour of Tamaqua's Opportunity Zones. WASHINGTON — Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) issued the following statement after voting in support of the Senate's amendment to H.R. 3401, the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Humanitarian Assistance and Security at the Southern Border Act:
"I am pleased Democrat leadership has finally come to their senses in passing the Senate's overwhelmingly bipartisan bill that funds humanitarian assistance at our southern border. As a supporter of the Senate's amendment to this bill, I look forward to it now being signed into law by President Trump.
