WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Cost Estimates Improvement Act, which was introduced by Representatives Dan Meuser (R-PA), Michael Cloud (R-TX), Rep. Ed Case (D-HI), Jared Golden (D-ME), and Tom McClintock (R-CA) passed in the House Budget Committee. H.R. 8341 is a bipartisan piece of legislation that would help lawmakers address America’s enormous national debt and the associated interest costs in the legislative process.
