WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a 51-0 vote yesterday, the House Financial Services Committee approved H.R. 3645, the Amendment for Crowdfunding Capital Enhancement and Small-Business Support Act of 2025 (“ACCESS Act”), authored by Rep. Dan Meuser (PA-09). The bipartisan vote propels the measure to the full House floor, marking a significant step toward modernizing Regulation CF and expanding access to capital for America’s smallest businesses.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1804, the 7(a) Loan Agent Oversight Act, introduced by Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09). 

This bipartisan legislation strengthens accountability and combats fraud within the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 7(a) Loan Program. It does so by requiring the Office of Credit Risk Management to submit an annual report to Congress regarding the performance of and risk associated with loans generated through loan agent activity.

The first-place winner’s artwork will be displayed for one year in the United States Capitol alongside winning pieces from congressional districts across the country. The second-place entry will hang in Congressman Meuser’s Washington, D.C. office, where it will be seen by visitors from Pennsylvania’s 9th District. The third-place piece will be exhibited in the Congressman’s Pottsville District office.
