Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09), today announced a federal grant award to Pottsville roads and culvert repairs made by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This $1,066,608.62 federal investment will enable needed repairs and alleviate what has become a major safety issue since historic flooding from Norwegian Creek severely damaged Progress Avenue in 2018.

This bipartisan legislation would increase access to the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) Automobile Grant, which is used by our nation's most severely disabled veterans—often amputees or paralyzed—to purchase a vehicle.
